Should we sack Ange now?

For those who persist in this weird belief about Levy...a little help with some actual facts.
Win percentage top division
40.07% Before Levy
44.96% Under Bill Nicholson
47.35% Under Levy
44.29% Under Ange

So Levy has delivered our best historical League performance by miles, much better than Bill Nicholson's. How could he possibly have done this if he was clueless on football?
And Ange's disastrous performance is in the same ball park as Nicholson's (but not a significant result due to the small amount of data).
Statistics, bar charts, venn diagrams, percentages etc are meaningless, the only statistic that matters is the number of trophies being put into your cabinet. Levy is the most unsuccessful chairman in this clubs history, not that Levy will be bothered about that, seeing as he is living out his dream of turning Tottenham Hotspur Football Club into a London entertainment venue where the football club is only a part concern.

I dislike American Football and Beyonce, so I’m with you on this one

Absolute bollocks. By that measure most clubs are meaningless.
You've also completely missed that football has fundamentally changed. Before the PL and CL there were many clubs at a similar level and about 10 clubs had a reasonable chance of a trophy each season. Now only 4 or 5 do. We've only been in that top four or five for a short period in the sixties. Levy is trying to get us back there and you oppose him at every turn.

Unfortunately, Levy is useless at football decisions, has a massively flawed plan (lord knows what that is) to ever achieve it, won`t ever prioritize sporting success ahead of business success and blunders from one comical failure to the next. His time has been up for years, new owners with fresh ideas can not come soon enough.

It’s tough to admit but we are a very toxic club at the moment. The general vibe around the place is just shoddy. We’ve got sections of fans abusing players and staff, more and more fans are hating on Levy and the mood is just at rock bottom.

Not only Ange but I can see a few players actively wanting out this summer, likely some very good ones too.

There’s a relentless negativity around the place. On pitch stuff, off pitch stuff, it all contributes.

The media plays a big role (which isn’t to say us fans aren’t rightly pissed at a lot of things) and one of the few good things Ange has done recently is call them out on it after the Tel penalty the other week.

Simply getting a new manager in and improving results will likely improve the mood around the club and in the stands of course but I think there’s bigger issues that will take years to correct.

The plan is simple and obvious. To grow the club’s revenue and spend it on the team to allow us to buy better players and hire better managers.
This complaint about prioritising business success over sporting success is frequently made but no-one can say what it means, which isn't surprising as for a football club the two are highly correlated. The accounts clearly show that all excess cash generated is used to strengthen the team. It remains the case that five other English clubs have a more expensive squad than us. Until our excess cash generation overtakes their's then we will continue not to win trophies.
I thought until recently that we'd already overtaken Arsenal and Chelsea on that measure, but that isn't true because although our revenue has been higher than theirs, a lot of our commercial revenue comes from stadium events and those have a lot of associated costs.

I think for as long as we charge what we do on ticket prices, there’ll forever be a level of negativity - and I don’t see us reducing prices… ever, certainly not whilst ENIC are here.

You can’t charge what we do and not be challenging for (and occasionally winning) major honours every season. In any walk of life, the more you pay the more/ higher quality you expect. So when you’re served up the tripe we’ve had this season, along with recent years of below par stuff you’ve basically got a constant forever base of toxicity right there that’s only being masked if results are good, the moment they drop, it’s back to carnage/ anarchy/ apathy.

You know it's Tuesday when Matt Law is running this story again

As I said probably 18 pages ago now, it's obvious that he's leaving this summer anyway so I cannot understand why people are getting so wound up about it anymore

And this is coming from somebody who has spent the week getting bent out of shape at how bloody difficult it is to get washing powder tablets these days, as we're being shepherded to using the pods which I ****ing hate...
