Just woken up to a message saying Tim will be gone today/tomorrow..... Hopefully it's true, came through about 2am UK time so something must have happened

I got the impression with the lack of posts from the club and the nature of Baz’s YouTube vid he knew more than he was letting on.

Most of us could see it after 5 games, no idea how it's taken this long. Really thought he'd be gone by the end of October. At least, remarkably, the season is still salvageable and a mid-table finish is well within our grasp. Sad thing is, towards the end of last season I thought this would be a season for pushing for Top 2 like a Sunderland are doing.

IF true I hope there is someone normal lined up to step in immediately, who has a proven record of keeping teams in the Championship with a simple no nonsense style of football and management. I won't get my hopes up though
Colin?!!!!!

If this is true then hopefully we've got an experienced, pragmatic replacement lined up; someone who knows the league, can set a team up properly and is open to adapting the system if things aren't working.

Last night's performance was abject. A team who didn't believe in what they were doing and had given up. There's confidence and attitude issues which aren't necessarily going to be easy to fix. It's a big job to turn this ****show around but obviously the quicker that starts, the better.

Hopefully today.

UTT.

The German, who has endured a nightmare tenure since taking over in the summer, has received public backing from owner Acun Ilicali, but it's understood a change is now a very real possibility with City sinking deeper into trouble after a limp display against their Yorkshire rivals, who have more MKM Stadium wins this season than Walter's team.

It’s the right decision. I wanted it to work out and wanted to give him time to see if he could get past the teething problems but it’s just not happened. I was still hoping he could turn it around by the second international break but I’ve thought he should go for the last few weeks now.

I didn’t mind him on a personal level. He’s got that stereotypical Germanic bluntness that is very much like Marmite. Can see why he rubs a lot of supporters the wrong way though.

Fingers crossed for good news today.

My only issue is who is appointed next.

Need a proven Championship manager.

Will likely get some unknown quantity that has been managing Sunday league in *****lia.

I don’t trust Acun to make the right appointment to give us a fighting chance.

I don't mind his sense of humour, but not going over to the supporters because he's wet, and his comments about there being more to life than football is just daft.
