Hope your right, just got a feeling that Huddlestone may still be with us due to lack of interest, I think Tom been found out at this level and PL club's wont be prepared to take a risk on him.

I agree but we'd sell at £4m - maybe less - and that's peanuts to some clubs who might think it's not a risk at that price. I can see him at Everton, he's a very Martinez player.

Pfft, found out. He's played in the premier league for about 10 years.

He's a very good player who just doesn't really fit into our team and ethos. He'll have no trouble finding a new club.

The men's game isn't even that physical now with the way yellow and red cards are shown all the time.

As for whether Huddlestone (or some others) will show up in the last two games....well maybe they might decide to or maybe they won't. But really it shouldn't be a choice. That was a thing that disappointed me at the end of last season, how people put up with the non-performances as we were in the cup final. That leads players to think they can just turn it on when they want. Of course there will always be some dips in form, but there's a difference between that and really not trying. And when you have several players like that it means there's a culture of it in the team.

We'd be able to sell Thudd on reputation alone. No problem there.

I'd be tempted to give him a work your socks off in pre season and show us what you can do next season bollocking. But no tears will be shed if he ****s off.

Now here's a picture of Tom's head in cake form...

Not to worry too much. Hull FC's new larkers are starting to gel.

    Good win against The Wire

Huddlestone is carrying too much weight.

Watch him try and run back and cover - he looks as though he is wearing divers boots.

Rubbish, he's just a big bloke.

He's never been quick, it's not his game, but he does seem to be thinking too long, rather than just playing the ball immediately like he did last season...

He was in the media this pre-season about how hard he was working and so on so can't really see much changing, I think they came in several weeks early the ones not away

Watching the highlights on BBC it looked like he was involved all the time in the match, maybe this is how he gets aways with it, a show-reel show-pony who runs like he's lame

Dour, negative, fill the defence at expense of attack, defend at all costs, never break shape to make an attacking run and catapult the ball from back to front.

Not really a good match for a player like Huddlestone.

I think he's playing with no confidence, when you have it and your enjoying your game them little first time flicks/passes come off and you do it instinctivly. Unfortunatley he'll know he's been ****e so his confidence drops and he wants that extra second longer on the ball but he's getting caught out.
Jakes the same but now he looks like he doesn't even want the ball!!
Neither got anywhere near burnleys midfield

    Anyway that's my diagnosis

I said on here a couple of days ago, brucies biggest task in the summer is to come back with a style of play, an ethos if you like and a clear vision of who he wants in that style/system eg Swansea 4231 and an attractive style of play.
He also must write 10.000 lines
"I must play my players in their positions"

Err thats a pic of him last season.
He's definitely bigger now and lumbers about.
His touch isnt what it was either. Last season he was getting a round of applause for trapping a ball his touch was that good. He's been nowhere near this season.

No coincidence either he got himself a nice holiday for the Christmas period, somebody portly like him probably loses his edge in a few days like that

First time passes were much more prevalent as well, ball dropping over his shoulder he'd switch it across the field easily. Now he'll take time on the ball and have it nicked off his foot.

    Bump.

Sorry, it just seemed appropriate given the title.

I was expecting this to be a Batman fight caption eleven. I've been googling for players called Zap and Kapow.

I don't know who came up with Thudd, but he's been more like a Dudd.

A luxury we can ill afford. It appeared that when he was suspended a couple of weeks ago it coincided with better football with quicker tempo. He just slows it down.

Also a return of 0 goals for nigh on 12 months is woeful.
