Danny is an improved player since being under the wing of laudrup, He is a better player now than some give him credit for but he has personal issues that has forced his hand to moving back north near his family. If sunderland fans boo him then as he is on a 3 1/2 year contract he wont give a toss, it will go over his head, So what he is a toon supporter as you can bet 90% of your team supports other clubs and are only with you to earn a living. Danny is the same and you can bet your life he will give you 100% in every game even against his child hood team the toon....I hope he does well for sunderland and his personal issues get resolved very soon...he will always be a jack and we will miss him...

Gutted he has gone was always a favourite of mine, loved his work rate, scored enough for me considering cost etc, would ahve loved to see him at wembley, deserved a medal in my eyes and came across as an affable fella, always felt he gave his all when playing. But as previous posters have said in ML I trust and if he feels we can manage then so be it. Dont think Moore and definitely not Schecter will step up, hope I am wrong!!

never a striker imo, more agg mf who likes to get back and defend when needed, gone, cfz, better than him around, time for the others eg donnelly to step up

A certain trainer at the club has mentioned that Danny G had white line fever ....and he didn't mean the markings on the pitch. If so, and theres no reason to doubt a Swansea stalwart, we are well shot of the guy.

I am not sure on that, as an athlete they face random tests for performance enhancing drugs etc, surely taking anything like this would put a huge flag up and the player would face sanctions ?

Guess you guys have never played a bad game then?

For all the insults you have shouted about us, you are still to beat us in the premier league <ok>[/QUOTE

We should really have beaten you quite well on Tuesday. Once Laudrup sorts our final third to be potent on a more consistent basis, I think we'll have some team. We're not too bad now you may admit...

Of course we've had bad games. We're Swansea City after-all. We certainly know where we've come from....

But you can't deny, we just didn't allow you to have the ball for fair periods of that game, for you to even try to have a good game!!

We know & acknowledge when we've been done, usually at the hands of the likes of Norwich & Everton, but hopefully even that seems to be changing now under Laudrup!!
Personally, I've got no issue with your club. Worked with a Mackem for a long time, who was Sunderland & England daft, was a real top fella too.... <cheers>

<applause>

A sensible post at last, yes you should have beaten us, we all admit that. I always say though if you aint good enough to break a team down and stick the ball in the net, then you don't deserve to win. It's that simple. I will also admit to you having the ball for long periods but you done that last season as well and we beat you 2-0. If you can have more of a cutting edge up front then you could really kick on and start cementing your place in the top 10, I really believe that. The two times you have played at the SOL you have had all the possession but in all honesty, haven't done anything with it apart from loads of passing and not enough probing? I just think if you got the ball up to your forwards a bit quicker at times then you could be much more clinical.

Good luck for the rest of the season, although they has been a lot of negative and unnecessary comments from both sets of supporters recently, I do enjoy your style of play <ok>

KJ don't take it to heart.

Its the footy equivalent of "tiny dick" or "short guy" syndrome.

Both live in the shadow of far bigger, more successful clubs and this highlights their own inadequacies. For the mackems its Newcastle or Middlesborough, QPR its every other premiership club based in London.

Anyway to mackems and QPRoiders
WE ARE JACKS WE ARE SWANS WE ARE WALES WE DON'T CARE <ok>

<cracker> .

If this is correct you could be right, they take a blood sample and it could be negative after 2-5 days. Don't think they'd do a hair sample that would detect it up until 90 days.

I never looked into that before, makes you wonder sometimes what could be happening in the game

A lot more than we know. Any coincidence with DG mystery illness? Any coincidence ML not being concerned by his departure?

Interestingly, the PFA are a big voice in preventing a more stricter regime

That is shocking, any druggie football players should be named and shamed. I have zero time for druggies whether football players or anyone else.
