Not invisible just a little confusing. Never mind let's take it that you wish to stand as a potential mod. Perhaps the best thing I can do is to explain how the board works and what the mods do. Apologies for assuming that people knew this.
The forum not606 is privately owned for more information on this speak to @brb or his team. Who is brb? He is the administrator who oversees the whole site with his team of moderators. It is to him and his team that your Spurs mods will go to request bans for example or to clarify any site situations. The forum is divided into boards for example the Spurs board and say the Chelsea board. Each team or sport has it's own board. Each board has it's own moderators who decide how they wish to moderate their board provided that does not clash with the overall forum rules., i.e. no advertising or campaigning for example. The 3 Spurs moderators, when they started some years ago, discussed how we wanted to proceed and we decided that we wanted free speech as far as was possible but not at the expense of allowing personal attacks on posters or rascist comments. That's the basis of our moderation.
What do mods have? We have a number of tools that enable us to delete posts or warn posters, we can also move posts to different threads or even move threads or close threads. There is a separate forum for moderators from all the boards to meet and discuss. That's where we might have a discussion with brb about a course of action.
I think that covers it, I'm happy to answer any further questions if I can and I am sure if I have missed anything @brb or @PleaseNotPoll will comment.
Thanks for the info Spurf
That name @brb raises too many red flags
I’m definitely out
not really. Spurlock has a lot of banter with brb on the Premier League board and I was being heavily sarcastic
