Give it time. Other people may wish to put themselves forward. We could always vote yes or no to one candidate too, if that's the position we end up in. Maybe do it via PM though, as that could put people in an uncomfortable position. Any suggestions about how this should be done are welcome. Sensible ones anyway, before you lot ****ing start.
If you do stand, you'll definitely win. You're very popular on here and rightly so. Indeed I put myself forward only because no one else had. So think properly about it and if you want it, I reckon it's yours. I am certain the whole board would support you.
Hopefully whoever is chosen, commits to dressing appropriately when on moderating duties - three piece suit, collar and tie please. Thank you.
Geez, last Sunday I’d have almost been perfect for the role. Three piece suit, cuff links, pocket tie, shaved head but just some slight facial hair as otherwise I have the biggest baby face going and no one likes a baby face. But fast forward to now, the stubble’s grown (and will continue to do so for a while), I’m in fleece shorts and a polo and I’ve gone chavtastic by having a can or two in anticipation to finally be heading back to the Lane tomorrow.
Every day I turn on London news expecting to see the following headline : Man attacks Nunos' beard with razor and shaving cream.
Well, that rules me out - on both counts!!!!! (Previously posted accidentally as reply to another post. Old age kicks in sometimes.) (But what can you expect from a bearded guy with a sort of pony tail thing!)
