Unfortunately there's no such thing as 'First Class post' now . . . . there are First Class postage prices, but not service, and nobody seems to care :emoticon-0108-speec

You can't even complain about late delivery on the Royal Mail site, that's obviously deliberate as they will get so much. Probably the reason they ditched the email option to contact them too.

This letter is from Companies House and states I could face a penalty if i don't respond 8 days before I receive it. I'll just finish this time machine so I can respond straight away...last week.

Did they come out really shiny? <laugh>

I think your machine will be OK <cheers>
Ive put some other stuff in to give it a good rinse out, and remembered to use a washing pod this time.

You would think they would invent a "one pod for all" that just done everything....clothes, dishes, bath, teeth...the lot.
Everything and everyone would smell like cool linen.

Right, ive only gone and washed a load of towels and tea towels, but used a bloody dishwasher tablet instead of a washing pod.
Can't knack the washer can it?

Ive emailed Emma Hayes, but havent had a reply yet.
I clean our washing machine a couple of times a year by hoying in a couple of dishwasher tablets and setting it in the ‘clean’ function. Never had any problems and our washing machine is coming up for 15 years old.

Skye teenager sails out to rescue two men who fell off toy inflatable

A teenager took his own boat to rescue two people who had fallen off a toy inflatable off the Isle of Skye.

RNLI volunteers from Kyle of Lochalsh were called to Broadford Bay at about 21:00 on Saturday following reports of two men getting into difficult in the water.

The lifeboat launched within 10 minutes, but the crew discovered that a teenager who lived locally had already spotted the people in distress, sailed out and took them back to shore safely.

The RNLI crew checked there were no injuries before leaving the scene.

Great story and fair play to the kid and RNLI

He should have just tossed them a life jacket and sailed away like the French police do, which people seem to think is acceptable on this board.
Obsessed :-) this is what Farage has created. :-)

For the record the RNLI do a great job and should receive no criticism off charlatan racist grifters. However, there is more applicable threads on here if you want to have a go at those for saving the lives of people at sea if they are of a different colour to most of us.

the RNLI do a great job, but they did not rescue the people, a young boy did.
You much fantasise about Farage as you also bring him into most chats even when not discussed.
Were the French police wrong to just give out life jackets to people they though were in distress then sail away exactly as I said the boy could do.
There is only one racist on here and I am talking to him.

'I don't think they realised the danger': Boy, 15, after dramatic sea rescue

The 15-year-old says he saw them from his house and decided to take swift action. Archie Law was praised by the RNLI for his “quick thinking” when the drama unfolded off the coast of the Isle of Skye on Saturday evening.

This is a fun story, with a happy ending and a good thread ...

... if you want to pour your bile on something why not start a thread of your own which you never seem to do.

Jumping on other people's threads might be entertaining for you but I doubt anyone else enjoys it.

Personally I think most of what you post is tedious ****e to be honest.

You brought this up not me.

I’m congratulating a young lad who showed great initiative and a fantastic charity whose volunteers put their lives at risk every day of the year. Why you would link this to immigration is on you not me. However, why anyone would criticise those lads and lasses in the RNLI is beyond me.

I took my boat licence in France and had a few days ruined because I’d gone to the assistance of a stranded boat. We were on our way to St Tropez, loaded up with cool boxes, picnic, etc, and a boat had broken down. We had to come alongside, hitch up two ropes and take him to the nearest suitable port, St Raphael.

It took over two hours and ruined the day but we had no choice …

… ‘Under international maritime law, you are legally obligated to help any person or vessel in peril, provided you can do so without endangering your own vessel, crew, or passengers.’

People who say we should ignore people in the Channel clearly know nothing about maritime law or how busy that shipping lane is. The RNLI have no choice in who to help or how.
