Aye, my daughter swears by hers, we are thinking of touring round for a month in the caravan and one stop off will be to see my mate in Tow Law which is not far from you. Probably May/June.
I will pop in one day next week on the way from work and see what he has and let you know.
I would be more than happy to get one, and put it to one side if you want.

Anyone watched BBC News at 1?
Hamburg shooter caught on mobile camera on zoom? Why would he have recorded it, very strange? Was he in on the killings?

Just wanted to post a big thank you to Samwise.

Rather than hoik a load of probably worthless old fanzines in the bin he took the time to post them on here. I called into Houghton, on the way to the Stoke match, to pick them up.

I've started going through them and they've brought back some wonderful memories and even spotted a few mates in the photos ...

... when I've been through them I'll pass them on to anyone who wants a bit nostalgia.

Thanks again Samwise, and your lass, for making me so welcome. It's people like you who've made the last fifty years, following the Lads, such a pleasure.

Al the best mate.

just seen this fella, it was just good to see them go to (or get passed around) a few fans that may have missed them or can get a little 'revisit' of our best times of late...was sure i had little tyson's signature in one, i know my neice got his hat off him.

good to meet the face behind the typist...stay safe ;)

Bugger - Lance Reddick has died. Cult TV hero. Was most famously in The Wire, Fringe and was the concierge in the John Wick films. Only 60.

There goes my dream casting as the next Star Trek show's Captain.

@Gordon Armstrong, If you haven't tried this yet, I would highly recommend it....just like pub Guinness.
There's a way to use the normal Guinness draught cans with it as well, but haven't tried that yet.

I'll definitely try that, Snaggey :emoticon-0148-yes:
I had one Guinness at The Colliery before the match yesterday, and it was horrible . . . . so bad that I changed to John Smith's after, which was much better (that's how bad it was) <yikes>

That's a terrible advert for The Colliery, where I've enjoyed Guinness previously :undecided:
