Seagulls.
Not that's any such thing . . . . they're just gulls.
I didn't think about this, but I've just taken my boy home and saw two dead (recently killed) gulls on the road, and lots walking on main roads (mainly on King George Road and Caldwell roundabout in 'Sheels) as if it's too hot for them and their short of energy . . . . cars were slowing down and driving around some of them :emoticon-0112-wonde

This must be weather related and a bit of a condern :emoticon-0148-yes:
Just seen that around Dykelands Road and a lot of the adjourning streets, lots of gulls, mainly in pairs, just walking around the streets... plus the fecking ants are all out in force

If someone on the telly says "stop, alexa", and you're using your alexa as the tv speaker, would it stop?
I haven't got an Alexa, but I have got a google home mini, and the command is supposedly "OK google" or "hey google".
I say supposedly because it's piped up quite a few times with random information that no one has asked it, and it has even answered a question on The Chase.

I’ve got the same and it does exactly that

Young lad 13, tragically has drowned in river , watching report on ITV Tyne Tees news. I can’t believe that families in such circumstances ring the media to talk about it - so do the insensitive scummy reporters actually make contact to ask the question “ how are you feeling about it ?”

I suppose that the people who are suggesting the idea of not having to go to work if the weather is hot, will turn up at the shops , bars , hospitals etc expecting to be served and attended to by fully staffed premises

Yeah sit in beer gardens with staff serving them.

If you can work from home work from home in the heat, is the other suggestion I have seen.

This only really covers people who work in an office type environment where their work can be done remotely. Most offices have air con so I suggest they will be more comfortable at work.

I'm currently traipsing around Heathrow Airport for work. Haven't even got to the terminal I'm working in yet as I didn't realise the trains between terminald weren't constant like the underground so sat waiting for ages!

Halifax Town's striker Jamie Allen has been announced as a new inmate sorry contestant on Love Island - just after signing a new contract with the club. Apparently being on the telly is very important to him so he's ****ed off. Halifax are supposedly going to be looking into the matter upon his return! <laugh>

just had a chuckle at talksport. Charlie Austin went on a rant about Alex Crook having a go a Jesse Lingard yesterday. In the rant he said "just let him be", so they decided to playe Let it be by the Beatles and dubbed Charlie in. Canny funny. I remember the rant he had and the dubbed Park life over the top of it.

Youth of today dressing like 80 year old men. Hair brushed from the arse, shorts/trousers up to the armpits, tucked in shirts, white socks up just below the knee and black footwear.
Even I don’t dress like that and I’m 85! Except for the black footwear.

Took my daughter in to River Island to buy her some clothes for going on holiday the other day. No tills open in the kids bit so had to go into the mens section and there was mannequin in there wearing exactly the kind of thing me grandfather would have worn, and he died in 1989.

Anyone got any info on this? I was given it years ago by a mate, but he had no idea where it came from. It's really well made, heavy and framed well. Glass front with lead work for the badge. It looks like it's signed but I can't make out the name. Any help or advice appreciated.
