See that horrible bastard Wayne Couzans has just had an appeal against his whole life sentence rejected. Well done to the justice system for twice taking into account the circumstances of what he did and the fact he used being a police officer as a way to do it and as a result dishing out a sentence that would be more common for a seriel killer.
I may have mentioned this but I hate upholstery. I particularly hate measuring up. I particularly particularly hate things that come in pairs or/ and come 2 to a width that you then double instead of half, or half instead of double. BARSTEWARDS!!!!!! No reason.
Remember the crap feed for the Bradford game, I have just received a refund to my account, good move by the club. Just need to sort the ticketing and shop out and we’ll be a properly professional unit.
it's simple, just create an interdimensional port hole. Fold space time so point A are point Z at the same point in time creating a singularity, or worm hole, simply past through the singularity, once through, space returns to normal meanwhile you have past from one end of time and space to the other like walking through a door thus mastering lightyear travel.... absolute piece of piss.
I was in McDonalds yesterday, there was a woman working in there, she was running out to the cars taking orders out, she was then behind the till, then she was clearing the tables, never stopped the hour I was there and it got me thinking about tips. If you're in a restaurant, someone doing they same thing or meby less that the person I seen yesterday, why do we feel we each have to "slip her a few quid" for doing their job?Everyone gets a wage from an employer.Or of a taxi ride comes to 16 quid, it's assumed thye can "keep the change"from a 20? 20 quid for 15 minutes work? Why isn't this a thing for McDonalds workers for example? When you're at a football ground buying a drink do they have a glass on the counter with "Staff tips on it? Yet most pubs do? This post if a bit Mr Pink but its true. I'm far from a greedy person, quite the opposite, but just got me thinking.
Agree, I'm not tight but wonder why you 're supposed to give people money for doing their job. I've had times between jobs, but have been expected to chip in for tips when even if they were on a low wage, were earning more than me... Restaurant and pub staff aren't the only people who go out of their way for you. I've also been employed where doing a bit extra for the customer has involved hours of extra work, missed meals, missed sleep, but got nothing for it
Did have a look but couldn’t see one, quite appropriate to have a post not worth writing in a thread for things not worth a thread. just realised why I didn’t see the thread, it started after I had posted!
Barely even news, just a bog standard low class spat between two women. Just because their husbands are rich doesn't make it interesting.
Doesn't deserve a thread but haddaway an shìte Bruce man . https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo...ellis-shorts-biggest-compliment-amid-24619555
I've always found it odd. Tip these but not those. I knew a lad years ago that went on the cabs, said it was ridiculous money. Say a drop of cost seven quid, they hand you a tenner, he used to make it look like he was having a clart on sorting the change. By that I mean he'd open the zip on the money bag that had nothing in, then have a carry on opening the zip saying "Keep jaming" to the point they'd say " just keep the change mate", 3 quid for nothing. Or on a night, if it was dark, start racking in the bag for the change, then put the light on, as if you were put them out, 9 times out of ten...."keep the change mate". I haven't got a dower on taxi lads and lasses, the point is they make fortune or at least did. Probably all changed now like. But back then it was enough to pull him away from his 9x5 Mon- Friday to work daft hours.
