Agree he does look a real prospect, unfortunately the Aussie was on top of his game.

At 21 years old l'm sure we will see a lot more of him.
A lot of young British talent coming on the scene

Yeah I didn't expect him to win because De Minaur is a good player with a lot more experience under his belt despite only being a few years older, he did well though.

Draper's been injured on and off since 2019 and had a bad case of covid to boot so he's behind in his development. In a year or two when he's got solid experience and the necessary fitness levels I see him as a top ten player. Got all the weapons as they say.

I am looking forward to seeing how Drapper, Penistone, Brady, Gray progress.
Good to see all 4 were watched by the Davis Cup Captain Leon Smith during their games.

"Royal accounts have revealed the Queen overspent by £14.9million last year and had to dip into reserves but sources say the family are "extremely conscious" of the cost-of-living crisis affecting the nation."

...and this is why they will never understand

Forgot Jubb, only seen one of his matches which he looked good in.

Watson just got through, but was quite Conservative and good luck to her in the next round

Why are so many tennis players wearing their caps backwards this year? They do it even when the sun's in their eyes, not sure what they're protecting the backs of their necks from.

The Mrs was watching some ****e on the Drama channel, and I kid you not, there was an advert on for Balsam Hill Christmas Trees....
A Christmas Tree sale....it's July ffs.

Well the market for them will be quite slow just now so they have to do something to shift them!

Training on the track around the pitch at Roker Park, straw on the ground.
Just before my time, I never saw Charlie Hurley play, but I remember most of the others.
Nice to see a big back page spread on Sunderland in the Journal, and a small single column at the side previewing the following days mags v Middlesbrough game. Wouldn't happen these days.

Does anyone know? Supermarket petrol always used to be way cheaper than garage prices. My understanding was that wherever the oil came from and no matter who refined it , the resulting petrol would be petrol. Basic identical product. This basic petrol was what the supermarkets sold at the going price. The petrol companies charged more because they developed and produced additives which they put in to clean your engine , better performance etc.
If that is correct , are the supermarkets now selling us additives , or are they just matching the garage prices and thus doing their bit to jump on the profiteering bandwagon to rip us off ?
