- NHS reforms, and political interference for political ends in general.
- Roadworks, roadworks average speed cameras, being stuck in a traffic jam on the M1 at 4AM due to roadworks.
- The Northern Line.
- Subsidising industries that are supposed to be 'privatised'.
- Bankers getting bonuses at all, bonuses for taking risks with the future of everyone.
- Selling the soul of the country to the financial industry.
- Credit rating agencies pronouncing on governments (who elected the rating agencies)?
- Shorting of shares, the stock market being no more than a casino, insider dealing.
- Billionaires buying up teams followed by fans thinking they somehow deserve to be where they are, 'fans' that change teams.
- Fans that think being a fan means nothing but criticising the team (mainly thinking of the old 606 there).
- Arrogance and lack of humility.

I could write an very very long list for this.
but my current pet hate:
Tesco. everything about it to be honest, but in particular, people shopping in tesco's.
why is it that as soon as people walk through the doors, pick their basket/trolley, they turn into non-functional human beings?!
a normal walking pace that turns to that of a snail??
180 degree trolley turns with out looking??
stopping in the middle of an aisle???
total inconsideration for others who need to pick up items, by parking their trolley in the most inappropriate places???
queueing at the 10 item of less counter with about 40 items and then kicking off when the assistant says they wont serve them?? seriously???!!
in addition...
the self service tills that just don't work???
the majority of staff who are unwilling to help???
loads of checkouts till being closed on a friday evening and most of a saturday???!!

3. Think they don't need to know anything about military history to be in favor of a war, especially those who were in favor of a war in Afghanistan who were completely unaware of the dozen times since Alexander the Great people have invaded and regretted it.
4. Everyone else in this country determined to re-enact the Fall of Rome.
5. Are not just anti-intellectual, which is fine, but pro-ignorance.
6. Blame everyone but themselves for their problems.
Everyone who doesn't make a habit of seeing where other people are going, and adjusting their path to make it easier for everyone.

I forgot: the police. Not just for one incident, either, but for many over the years (though I've seen a number of great cops as well.) My last run-in:

No offence RWAEB, but I'd like to add one of my own:

Also, no offence taken, the demonization of socialism in the US ticks me off as well. But it's gone beyond that. The crowd at the Republican debate booed Ron Paul when he quoted the golden rule. Their position, in the good old days, was, we want fundamentalist Christianity and free market capitalism and racism.
Their position now is "We want to be aggressively ignorant assholes, who hold nothing sacred except the joys of being in an angry mob created by rich people to further their own interests and screw ours."
