Trainspotting 2 was pretty ****ing bad as well...

I quite liked it.
Wasn't as good as the original, but with the recent slew of ****ty sequels to old films lately, I thought it was one of the better ones.

 

Cowboys Vs Aliens, haven't seen it but it must be terrible?

 

I get suckered in by the trailers every bloody time! Its my own fault.

Or the wife's. She wants to go the movies almost every bloody week!

 

Thought the ending was a joke.

The first one was hilarious, and I guess I’m judging it against that.

 

Trouble is the first one was a cult classic and trainspotting 2 wasn't a sequel as such. It was the next book called porno iirc.

I wish they followed the addiction more and covered relapses etc. and completely avoided the way the books went.

It was lame in the end.

 

I watched Wind River the other night. Same people that made Sicario. 8/10 decent film.

 

I bet the aliens win?

 

Porno the book is hilariously funny. Well worth a read.

 

It's basically that story though right? But was sold as Trainspotting 2.

 

Nah, very little from the book, Porno, was incorporated into Trainspotting 2.
It was mostly new material.

 

Not as I remember the book. It differs a fair bit.

My bad. I'm sure I've read parts of the new film in one of the books. Maybe a different one.

 

Both Lousey mate, it needed a hard looking man in the main role and not a university chutney miner from Cardiff.

 

Is that the one where this fat lazy guy marries a lap dancer and pimps her out to save getting out of bed every morning?
