I quite liked it.
Wasn't as good as the original, but with the recent slew of ****ty sequels to old films lately, I thought it was one of the better ones.
That's a shame, I love the original.

I get suckered in by the trailers every bloody time! Its my own fault.
Or the wife's. She wants to go the movies almost every bloody week!
Thought the ending was a joke.
The first one was hilarious, and I guess I’m judging it against that.
Trouble is the first one was a cult classic and trainspotting 2 wasn't a sequel as such. It was the next book called porno iirc.
I wish they followed the addiction more and covered relapses etc. and completely avoided the way the books went.
It was lame in the end.

Nah, very little from the book, Porno, was incorporated into Trainspotting 2.
It was mostly new material.
My bad. I'm sure I've read parts of the new film in one of the books. Maybe a different one.
Both Lousey mate, it needed a hard looking man in the main role and not a university chutney miner from Cardiff.
Is that the one where this fat lazy guy marries a lap dancer and pimps her out to save getting out of bed every morning?
