Prometheus is the worst film ever.
I have been bored in movies, I have been mildly irritated at movies, I have laughed at how bad some movies were, some have disappointed me, but Prometheus stands alone as the film that has insulted me enough to provoke anger.
Other than the geologist sneaking some weed on board in an unseen scene, nobody does anything that makes sense unless their only motivation is to drive along the poorly thought out plot. They're leaders of their fields on Earth, and yet ignore every single scientific protocol there is at almost every opportunity. They have the ability to scan the whole complex, but don't use it until the very end when it's needed to drive the plot, even though 2 of their crew had been cut-off earlier and were lost. The rest of the film is just as stupid, the reason for going in the first place was stupid, the creature's 'birth' was stupid, it's sudden increase in size from a squid to an Elephant was stupid, how the **** it got more than a 4 on IMDB is a mystery and clear indication that culling is becoming an increasing necessity.
