But how can you not when as a parent there must be huge pressure on you to make it a good time for your kids so it doesn't look like you're abusing them or something. How can you not indeed. Imagine how your kids would feel going into school to see all their friends with new stuff but they've not had anything? Imagine how you kids would feel when the other kids are taunting the about it? It could even make them a bit of an outcast too.

I hate Christmas too.
It's not so much Christmas itself, but the long-winded run-up to it, the rampant commercialism associated with it all, and the constant barrage of adverts for stuff nobody needs - with idiot "celebrities" gurning out of the telly even more than usual, endorsing stuff they've probably never gone near and never will.
And I'm already sick of Jools Holland pretending he knows how to look happy.
I saw an ad for a collection of Christmas songs - every Christmas collection has exactly the same songs on it as every other collection anyone has ever bought so who the hell buys another one?

If Christmas really was a time of peace and goodwill to all I'd love it- but sadly it's just another cynical marketing opportunity.

Yeah why not... a bit of fun finding pics of crap... just as long as nobody sends rhc a zimmer frame or soemthing.... #spooky last year.
