Rules is rules I'm afraid Turk, there is no sentiment here when it comes to football. I didn't have the privilege of meeting you today. It's quite possible that you too may face a close season ban.
just got in, was absolutely feckin' marvelous driving back up the M1 passing all the DCFC coaches and cars with our flags and scarve hanging out the window of my jalopy and smiling like a crazyman as they all stuck 2 fingers up at me, leaving me no choice but to return compliment showing only 1 finger to point out that we only needed 1 not 2 to win, Was gutted i had to take them down as i approached home as being a QPR fan living in Derby is at the moment a great thing, antagonising them and then trying to explain to my insurance company the damage to my car caused by beer bottles and bricks etc would not be a easy task, So i just drove on with the biggest smile on my face looking like an escaped patient from the booby hatch but inside bursting with enormous pride...................................... TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO BE A QPR FAN !!!!!!!!!!!
that as may be m8 lol, would have been nice to meet you, but a ban cannot wipe the smile of my ugly boat
Enjoy mate. We rarely have day's like these. I still can't believe Zamora scored that winner! That never happens to us.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Amazing!!! I just watched the game "live" a recording as I was travelling while the game was on and managed to avoid hearing what happened by turning my phone off, and avoiding screens, and talkative football interested looking people! I thought we were f'kked after about 80 minutes, 10 men and under constant seige. Then BZ scored and I certainly disturbed a few sunday morning lie ins - must have shouted and laughed for 15 minutes. Celebration tonight. Well done everyone there! - You outsung and out coloured Derby by a mile - great scenes on the TV. looked like we had 40 or 50 K there. And well done all the players and management, TF the lot. I didn't like Arry's team but I thought we were the best side until Kranjcar went off - though he didn't play well we were passing it about a bit with him there, and were first to the 50/50 balls. When he went Derby got on top, which of course they did in spades when O'Neill went. But Arry' substitutions worked, by luck or not I don't know, I thought we needed Ravel in there to hold the ball a bit and create something, but right now I don't care. We're back! I'm no big fan of Dunne but he was really immense today - MOM.
I think I expierenced every emotion during yesterday's match. I have to give some credit to a group of lads who were in Block 213 Club wembley who sang for the whole 90 minutes especially when we went down to 10 they were trying to rally everyone as most of our heads dropped. I was right behind the goal, sat next to a chap who had come over from Ireland for the game. R's fans around me were absoloutely fantastic. Been to a lot of sporting events that by far was the best ever. Think I made some new friends as well... Speaking to Derby fans on the tube on the way home, were obviously upset but said the same that we are saying here, we did the one thing Derby didn't. We scored !!! Just the sight of the flags waving, sent shivers down my spine...but the image that will stay with me for a long time will be Fernandes on Joey's shoulder's !!
That's what we were saying coming away from the ground. Down to ten men, sure to get overrun in extra time, and nick an 89th minute winner. That just doesn't happen to QPR!
please log in to view this image He he. Derby flew a we only had 10 men banner when they beat forest. Forest fans are going to do a they only had 10 men back at them now.
Its even better with the london radio commentary, apparently the derby radio guys were crying on air. This almost looks like a Fulham game! http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/25/thumbnail/da4use2a.jpg please log in to view this image
Amazing day, great to meet so many of you again (and some for the first time). Ended up back in the Bush at the Conningham which was lively as you can imagine. Hope we all made it back home safe!
Congratulations ... bit tough on Derby on the day but I did have a suspicion that one of your 'bigger names' might just rise to the occasion (an excellent finish) ... indeed I always thought you'd win the play-off, if a little more comfortably than it transpired ... not wanting to put a dampner on a brilliant occasion for you, but I did think yesterday showed that Harry is going to have to do a fair amount of remedial work to the squad over the summer ... good luck next season
We all know there will be a huge turnover in the squad, its doubtful whether harry will be here to do it. That match summed up our season, winning a lot of games we didnt deserve too.
I keep picturing that ball hitting the net right down in front of us and then me running around like a demented idiot, hugging my lad, hugging Fingy and then running down to the next row to hug my other son, whilst hugging everyone else along the way. 60 seconds of complete madness that I will never, ever forget for the rest of my life!!
