This thread will no longer be available on Virgin trains .. just saying <whistle>
Hilarious how the far right bigots are up in arms over the Daily Hate being dropped by Virgin Trains. They consider it undemocratic. For them democracy is every outlet being forced to distribute it.

Bunch of ****ing snowflakes! <laugh>

Have to admit that I did have a bit of a chuckle thinking about the Saxpest's likely reaction to the Virgin directive ... all those Daily Mail articles that he used to spam the politics thread with as 'universal truths' for the sensible ... I'm guessing he turned a darker shade of puce in his apoplexy ... absolutely hilarious <laugh>

Meanwhile at the Labour party ... tears of laughter ... no doubt

He had a meltdown on the Politics thread. Imagine the mess he made.

crazed lefties are so angry, ANGRY, ANGRY about life
"we're normal, we just resort to childish insults because we don't agree with you, it's not our fault"

it shows how these people don't believe in democracy
we had a referendum and the result was to leave the EU
only people who don't believe in democracy would want to avoid implementing the result

What about those who are actively promoting this tactic?

And democracy came to a sudden end on June 23rd 2016 did it?

People who truly believe in democracy - not those who are just worried that the result they wanted may be overturned - would understand that the public was lied to. And that as the realty of leaving the EU bears no resemblance to the simple task that Fox, Davis, and others portrayed it to be, the electorate should be given a chance to decide if they want to accept the reality of leaving or not.

The consequences, economic and otherwise, of leaving the EU are far more damaging than the vast majority of the public was led to believe. They should therefore be given the chance to think again.

but a future government could ask to rejoin the EU (with a referendum)

They could.

However, it’s not quite that simple. It’s taking us the best part of 4-5 yrs to actually leave. Once a GE result is known there’s no such drama, the new Gvt takes over the very next day.

All this, and of course, the EU would have to agree to us rejoining.
