Exclusive from the Telegraph

"Tony Khan has announced that the club’s 17-year-old phenomenon Ryan Sessegnon will not be sold this month, amid interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur among others in the England Under-19 international.

The club’s most senior figure Khan said that Sessegnon, a left-sided player whose twin brother Steven is also highly-rated, would not be permitted to leave the club in this window."

Reactions: Captain Morgan
Didn't Brighton sign Ulloa from a Spanish League 2 side?

:emoticon-0148-yes: Quite correct Surly. He's come a way since then though, in terms of coping with the game here. My dig wasn't so much about the ability of the player rather it was about our recruitment process.

West Brom have got to be testing the waters and in the process unsettling TC. If I were him I'd stay, West Brom, really! Newcastle didn't like £20m in the summer I don't see what's changed in terms of valuation.

II TC does move, from the Fulham point of view Newcastle would be the
best bet, firstly the previous offer was better than WBA and Gale could form part of the deal

The Northern Echo is touting a story that we're prepared to pay £13m for Gayle which by coincidence is the amount West Brom are supposedly testing us with for Cairney.

Not wishing to take your old favourite's name in vain rosc, but what a load of TOSH.

There have been so many news reports about TC to WBA recently. I looked up the WBA and Fulham forums a couple of days ago and no-one has been talking about it. It would seem we have all become media savy on transfer fake news.

I assume that this will see Odoi move across to CB, either as cover or as replacement for Kalas. We don't have much depth at CB with Sigurdsson & Madl gone.

I'd like to see Stephen Sessegnon get a chance as cover for Fredericks.

He's had the odd cameo on the bench and I'd expect him to leap frog the U23s next season. Some say more talented than his brother and only held back by that longish term injury at the beginning of the season.

Also worth remembering, although the Liverpool lad got the plaudits, it was Stephen who gave him a fair few assists for his goals in England's U17 World Cup winning side a couple of months ago.

From what I've seen (admittedly limited to just England appearances), he looked like a very good attacking wing back in the mould of Fredericks. I'd like him to get time with the first team squad as working with the likes of Fredericks & Piazon should be good for his development.

For the record, I was very impressed by his England performances.

Does anyone know much about Targett? He's a name I know from the Premier League (ok, more from Fantasy Football if I'm honest) where he's had a couple of dozen matches (plus more in the cups) over 4 seasons, but I don't know anything really about what he's actually like. Wikipedia tells me that he's 6 foot tall and 22 years old. It seems like a decent signing, but I'm judging that purely on stats rather than any first hand knowledge. Can anyone provide a more informed opinion?
