the ONLY reason he said he was going to resolve concessions etc is because he already knew he was going to pull the plug and he'd decided he had the excuse to do it - he's put the spotlight squarely back on the fans rather than themselves - its got nothing to do with throwing rocks at people, equally no one is beyond reproach - both the reasons given by the Allams are pathetic - we all need to work together to get this back on track now without giving them any reason to take issue with our actions
Completely agree that when he spoke to media he’d already decided to cancel
I’m less concerned about whether they take issue with actions because I don’t think they ever intend to change anything anyway

Why are they lucky? I am no Allam apologist but anyone who was to do that would most likely commit criminal offences. Indeed, some of things posted on this very forum would be of interest to the authorities.

Meanwhile, at a much lower level there is censorship being used by those like you (judged by the vective in your most recent post) to stifle genuine debate amongst the members of this forum. It appears that anyone who tries to apply logic, setting aside emotion, is a “flower” or some other derogatory term. Hardly conducive to dialogue amongst the supporters is it? And yet we expect the Allams to accept such sentiments? Double standards and we, as fans of this club, should know better than to advocate such an approach.

Deleted post because what's the point.

Allam out.

And then promptly released a statement referring to other “inappropriate actions” that had occurred previously. Presumably in an attempt to show how conciliatory they were prepared to be i.e ignoring childish acts in an attempt to reach agreement. Yesterday, they enacted that plan.

Ehab has crossed the Rubicon.

HCST were just about keeping a lid on our discontent as our ‘official’ supporters representatives. Inevitably a shift has now occurred in our support across to the ‘continuity’ protest groups. Without jaw-jaw you get war-war.You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: Victory. Victory at all costs.

Allam Out.

I'm oñ my fourth bottle of Stella, by the time you get here and pick me up I'll be on my eighth. Bring the petrol bomb and I'll chuck it at ehabs house.
Not nice but, I know 'someone' that threw a brick with a note attached to it through a window of a troublemaker. The note read, "this time it's a brick, next time it'll be a petrol bomb." It had the desired effect.

The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.

As I’ve said previously on this thread I think the Allams were offended by being presented with those scarves. They just simply kept their powder dry until they needed an excuse to use it. Yesterday gave them that opportunity.

MoH

Well I'm still offended about the name change bollocks. And the Airco arena evictions. And the removal of concessions. And the installation of a fundamentally flawed security gate. And the removal of council property from a council building. And the (not at all veiled) threat to put the club in the hands of administrators at the end of the season. They can still GTF.

I can only assume that Sr is not long for this world and Jr has permanently relocated to Leeds. Just a question of when Allam Marine relocates / gets sold because not ****ting on your own doorstep is one of those unwritten rules that most people understand.

The meeting has been postponed.

Concessions still on the table
Crest still on the table
Use of the name all bar AFC still on the table.

Nothing has been withdrawn just postponed and yet it’s all doom and gloom.

And anyone who knows me will understand that I always look for the positives as the negatives just weigh down life.

Despite you always looking for the positives. I am telling you now, it will never happen whilst they are still here. They are playing a game. Cat and mouse. They are enjoying it. I look forward to the day when you can tell me I was wrong. I'll even buy you a drink.

But there is because now they can throw up their hands and say “we tried to hold out an olive branch but the supporters club representatives chose instead to issue veiled threats etc”. Then, when any protests occur, they will claim that they were inevitable (and do not represent the majority of fans) and point to these failures as proof that the fans cannot be reasoned with.

MoH

It's ok though. Only you, Omega man and Phil West Upper listen to their take on things. No one else believes a word they say.

Nobody doubts they are playing a game. I just think we (collectively) could have been smarter in our attempts to counter them.

But this has given them their “out”. I would be far happier if all Ehab could quote was a patently obvious spurious reason, like those you suggest, rather than something which could reflect badly on the supporters representatives.

MoH

He has spouted a spurios reason. What's your problem?

No statement yet from The Trust ?

I'm confused with the last bit of last night's statement from the Allams

“We hope the threat of further disruptive action can be retracted, so we can continue the next meeting with all parties in attendance and pulling together to agree on the detail and delivery of the brand guidelines, crest redesign and concessions.”
The Supporters' Committee will reconvene later this month
.

So the next meeting will go ahead irrespective of whether so called 'threats' are withdrawn ?
What happens if the Trust make a conciliatory statement but protests still occur - will the next meeting go ahead ?
