Great stuff, loving the Whitesnake.

Dave was married to the girl in this video.

Yeah, she was a right headcase if memory serves. This is my funeral song...

In the great traditions of British blues-rock, little comes any better than this lot...

Some bands you may not have heard of...

The wonderful Stray with a psychedelic classic...

Superb from Chicken Shack featuring Christine Perfect on vocals who later became Christine McVie in Fleetwood Mac...

A greatly under-rated band from the late 60s, Spooky Tooth with a great cover of 'I am the Walrus'...

This is a band that suffered as a result of un complimentary Faces comparisons, but are still around and capable of producing gems such as this...

I haven't heard 'Northwinds', I'll have to check it out Uber...

Coverdale put out two solos albums after the demise of Purple, 'Northwinds' and 'Whitesnake'; the latter of course giving rise to the subsequent band of the same name. I think 'Northwinds' is the better of the two, but very different to anything more familiarly associated with the loon pants salesman from Saltburn.

I often think the proof of a classic album is when songs from it continually and randomly pop into your brain on numerous occasions. This is very much the case for me and 'Northwinds'.

One of my favourites...

LOOK at the video at 0:22, is that Adel?

On a serious note it's just awful as is any war and what it does to mankind in any way.
