Kenny was one of the many fine comedians that helped shape my twisted sense of humor. I preferred Kenny when he was on ITV in the Kenny Everett video show. Also a very good radio DJ to boot.

Great thread. Winning goals at Wembley is one way of reaching an all time high. The other of course is to be there, preferably at a small atmospheric venue when a performing legend comes to town. Last Wednesday, I managed finally to get to the Picturedrome in Holmfirth to see one of my musical heroes - Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. I've been trying to do so since 1978. He lived up to al my expectations even though he is about 67. Fantastic. There are some great clips on You Tube especially the one where he sings with Bruce Springsteen, Steven Van Zandt and Jon Bon Jovi. There were lots of London accents there including a lady wearing a QPR top. The audience probably had an average age of 50. Did any of you go?

Cool, glad you had a great time mate. I must admit that I'v never herd of Southside Johnny but I will go and check out on youtube when I get a mo.
