I've been sat up all night trying to nail this hauntingly brilliant guitar solo originally performedon the recording by Ian Bairnson and performed here by the stricken Alan Murphy..... I've nearly got it.... it kicks in at 3:09, it's worth a listen as it is one of the best............. Next up I'm going to try and learn the solo to this one.......... Moonlight Shadow... the solo kicks in at 2:09 ... superb! Anyone recognise the female vocal?
Love a bit of Bush! Bonkers, but what a songwriter and performer. I spent 4-5hrs over the weekend just trying to play Babooshka properly on my fretless bass, which I am determined to finally get proficient at playing - having only had the fretless since 1991!! Apologies if Snarky Puppy have been posted on here before, but I only came across this lot very recently and I don't know whether to be inspired to become a better musician or totally depressed and set fire to all my equipment and give up. This won't be everyone's cup of tea and it is over 10mins, but it is great to see a bunch of young musicians doing this quality stuff. 9'sey in the late 90's Pepsi DeMaque form Pepsi & Shirley toured with Mike Oldfield and sang vocals so it could be her. This is her singing Man in the Rain from the 1998 show in Horseguards Parade... Something a little different from Astor Piazzolla his Libertango with the world renowned cellist Yo Yo Ma... I know Croydon will like this one. A bit of early 90's Orbital. They took their name from the legendary late 80's M25 Orbital free party early rave scene.
One more from the same album Orbital2 (1993) A really relaxing bit of electronic music with a video to fit...
They're new to me UTR's, have you mentioned them before? Only kidding mate, thanks for the heads up, I'm liking them. Bit more Van M, because there's never too much:
