anyone think saying he is going o ntour in effect gave city a deadline to bid and they have bitten.

the ball is in our court now. hopefully it can be done for top money.... there will be leaks but no confirmed fee i reckon. We'll know close enough but there'll be those saying tis 40mil (mancs and plastics) and those saying its 50mil (deluded reds)

Bid is rumoured to be 40m plus 5m add ons... But nothing to say we've accepted it. Could still be holding out for 50m straight up but as discussions are taking place best to leave him back in case they agree and it's easier to him to get things sorted

It will be interesting to see. I think at this point with city at the table the dancing about has ended and they know we didn't just fold so whatever it is will be the best possible deal.

In the end no other suitor existed and I think all other clubs sat back very happy just to stick an oar in and use it to their own ends.

40 Mil with 5 more if he does anything is more than he is worth given his current level he will have to change his ways from here. I'm sure he will be able to point to a few medals in the next couple of years to say he was right but we will see.

Strikes me as another Nasri not another aguero.

This is it, after getting away from all the sky hyperbole he still isnt a top player yet. He really is a classic case of somebody not yet reaching their potential, as to whose fault that is and will he ever reach his potential, only time will tell.

Yes only time can tell us what he will do.

My guesses at wages...

Alexis Sanchez £150k
Aguero £200k
Hazard £200k
Ozil £130k
Fabregas £120k
Diego Costa £120k
Silva £200k
Mata £150k

Sterling £35k

My mate that's city fan and season ticket holder is pretty pissed off that they're offering any more that 20m and even more pissed off that Milner has gone on a free.

He thinks Milner will be the bargain of the summer as well.

put the wages next to each player.

Reports he will be on £200k a week. More than everyone on that list.

City making it hard for themselves again. They struggled to shift the last rubbish they bought and are starting all over again*

* if true (this board accepts all reports of wages as gospel)
