I agree with this. The club has to be situated the minimal distance from the bulk of the fanbase which restricts the number of possible sites.
Those arguing it should be closer to Beverley etc are ignoring the strong possibility that an already falling attendance could be decimated.
This is correct. I have lived in several places in this country and nowhere is as afraid of change as Ull. Amazingly if you keep people poor they are more likely to vote Labour (Old Labour, that is) .......go figure that one out!
And of course the Tories always abandon their rich patrons to champion the poor. Don't make me laugh.

Unfortunately, those at the hierarchy - Brady, Fudge, Hale, Geriatric are of a very low calibre. They are uneducated, unintelligent, inexperienced in the real economic world.
They like to portray themselves as protectors of local people, jobs and services.
Over the last fifty or sixty years, they and their predecessors have presided over and been directly responsible for Hull's decline.

I don't vote for the Tories, but I believe in building a better future for those who come after. The "Old School" Socialists have held the City of Hull back for decades with their self-serving hatred of progress.
On the subject of Hull being held back. My mum was down with me for the start of this trip and we went in town on Xmas Eve. We were shocked at how quiet the shops were in the afternoon. I've been in the town in Dunfermline first thing on a weekday morning with no big holiday around and it's been a hell of a lot busier than that. And I'm not getting a Scotland vs England financial thing going there because it's an argument that's all swings and roundabouts, and Dunfermline for shopping is crap, I live in the town centre and choose to travel to Edinburgh to do mine. This is the fact it was the afternoon of xmas eve and the only people waiting at the checkouts in the shops were the staff behind the counter who didn't have enough customers to serve. Even locals were commenting on how quiet it was.
