Indeed it was. Before more famous ones.

Also noticeable for the experiment where there was no offside. 45 minutes which shows what a daft idea is is of .Van Basten to abolish offside.

Also memorable for McKehnie playing on the wing and crossing the ball better than any recent wingers we have had. Though he did start his career as a winger.

He took a mean penalty too, I have a recollection from my teens of him and Ian Butler getting to the latter stages of some penalty taking/saving competition. He took a penalty in the Watney Cup game and whacked it against the bar, it was hell of a strike.

Patty, when did he refuse to train? Do you any direct or primary evidence for this 'fact'?
well he didnt train for a few days prior to his move.
it was either his idea or he was instructed to from high up cos they didnt wanna risk injury to him.

Didn't Raich Carter once do that? I vaguely remember someone doing that at fer ark, when I were a wee lad.

Evidently. However, you assumed that Snodgrass decided that. It was the club that said he was injured. If he had decided not to train, and let's not forget he was seen at the training ground, then surely the club would have made it clear that he had 'withdrawn his labour' so to speak. I am sad he's gone and we'll get over it. However, to question his professionalism without any evidence is a bit off.

the thing I find slightly off, is the claim that he was injured but he was sold..It cant have been that bad, he did feature for West Ham, straight away

Agreed. However, to blame the player when all the evidence is that the club is (understandably) protecting its investment is wrong. I wish Snoddy well and appreciate that he was a good professional whilst at Hull City. The chapter is closed. Just don't blame him without any evidence.

I can't (be arsed) to find it, but there was a post that quoted something from Silva. If that was wrong then fair enough, but there was nothing around to refute it, from the player's side.

As for his professionalism, it didn't stop him touting himself to Celtic (and wider, as a result) , when those other extended players just got on with it. **** him, he's gone, we move on, just another mercenary Sweaty.

People just believe whatever fits in with their own ideas about Snodgrass

If people are upset about him leaving it's because he was a decent payer for us , otherwise nobody would give a ****
