Watford Linked With Mexican Wing Back
Watford are linked with Mexican winger, Miguel Layun, who has recently switched to Granada.
The Mexican has just lately put pen to paper on agreeing a move to Granada and could be set to play for them in La Liga,
but Spanish reports are suggesting that the left wing back could be heading to Vicarage Road for a loan spell.
Words of the report translate to, 'Moments earlier, the newspaper Ideal of Spain said that despite the recruitment of defence, this would go on loan at Watford in the English second division, because their area is now covered.'
So with the twenty six year old possibly coming into Hertfordshire, this could mean Lloyd Dyer is set for a move away from Watford due to lack of game time, but what about Pudil?
I love the Czech and I thought he was quite eye-catching against Cardiff but Layun may just be cover for Pudil in that left wing back position, who knows?
Looking into Miguel Layun, he has made twenty-two appearances for the Mexican national team and found the back of the net on three occasions.
Quite a big player to be heading to the Championship wouldn't you say?
He did play for Mexico in the World Cup of Brazil this year, featuring in the vast majority of their matches, and is quite popular having over one million followers on Twitter.
The club he has departed to join Granada was Club America, where he made over one-hundred and forty appearances for the top flight Mexican side, netting fifteen goals.
Over the past couple of days, the wing back was linked with Premier League leaders Chelsea, who Watford come head to head with in their next fixture, but obviously no agreements were made which saw him join Granada.
Layun has also played in Italy, playing for Atalanta during the 2009-10 season.
