The official Facebook page says it's now a done deal. Have to say that if this is true, and there seems no reason to doubt it, there' a huge feel good factor to this story. The club definitely took a risk in giving him a second chance and he's seized it with both hands. It now appears that he seems desperate to repay that trust by getting us into the Premir League. Hats off to the Pozzos and to Troy - and let's hope he sees his dream fulfilled come next May.

Interesting news on Rotherham's Twitter page:

So we've missed out on signing 2 Watford players, wonder who they were #rufc #wfc #watfordfc

So we tried to sign Dyer and Mcgugan from Watford, would have been 2 good signings imo #rufc #wfc #watford

Somehow feel they wouldn't'#t go to the Millers with all due respect.

Personally I'd like to keep both so long as they aren't upsetting the other players in terms of morale.

Seems a strange pair to go for if they did it off their own back, especially Dyer after only recently signing. Are they both being offered around??

If their attitudes are affecting the dressing room, then it would be good to get rid - but how will that affect our home-grown quota, losing 2!

Over on the Ipswich site, they seem to think that the club is chasing McGugan and DG. Unless the new manager can get a decent game out of him They are welcome to McGugan, although they will have to learn to spell his name correctly.

With Boyd leaving Hull for Burnley and Bruce on the TV at the week-end telling us he needed a new striker, I wonder if we see a silly offer coming in for Troy?
