We've only lost Hermann Hardtospellisson and Ryan Williams I think, so far, so I hope your someone in the background story is correct.
 
A Watford fan told me today that Mariapas had gone, so I hope you are right and he was wrong. I wrote the first post of mine, on here, with that in mind and the sale of Sordell and just felt awful that two of Watfords best were leaving. I hate this bloody window crap and wish it would BOGOF.

2320: We're not waiting on much now (apart from Steven Pienaar) but we are still in the dark over Marvin Sordell's proposed £3m move from Watford to Bolton. He was discussing personal terms last I heard..
 
QPR fan Chris Bevan should be sacked for

a) openly shouting for his team in his role as a BBC reporter on one of the most important days of his season, and

b) describing the Marvin Sordell situation as "not much".

Sounds harsh to call for someone to lose their job based on two things I dislike, but many people do the same to football managers for far less valid reasons.

The problem with Pompey selling is who would want to buy given the inflated wages - Kitson on £21k a week - I'd want money to take him away.....
 
NNW, might change his mind about b if MS scores at the Reebok on 10th March (assuming the deal does go through).

Also, if the deal falls through, how does SD handle him?

If the deal falls through we've done nothing wrong. Watford definitely accepted a bid (which suggests we will definitely sell him in the summer). Dyche has had nothing but praise for him, and as I understand it we gave Marv the match off to facilitate the move before we accepted an offer. He'll be disappointed, but we won't be in a David Connolly situation.

It's Bolton's fault for not offering enough money fast enough, and the way he increases his earning potential is by ripping the division apart with quality service from Murray and Catch-a-ni-clitch for the rest of the season. Who knows, Bolton might even go down and he'll thank his lucky stars that it didn't work out.
 
2353: Which just leaves us waiting on a 20-year-old Watford striker. Bolton have reportedly agreed a £3m fee for Hornets frontman and youth-team product Marvin Sordell, who has scored 10 goals in 29 games this season, and he was discussing personal terms earlier tonight. Is he the man to keep Wanderers in the Premier League? Mind you, he will have some help. The expected departure of Kevin Davies, subject of a bid from Sunderland on Monday, was one of the deals that, like Owen Coyle's attempt to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, did not happen.
