My dad always tells a story of the first time he took my mam to watch Newcastle.

She moaned all the way through a goalless match. So, annoyed & frustraed, they left about 10 minutes early and started to make their way out of the stand.

Within a minute of having his back to the match walking up the steps, Newcastle scored.

By the time they'd got out of the stadium, it was 4:0 - he didn't see a single goal. just 80 minutes of boring match with his wife constantly moaning.

I'm sure he said Wor Jackie scored a hat trick, but I'm not sure which game it was.
