Horrible news. Football badly needs decent owners and our rivals down the road certainly had one that we can only dream of. By all accounts a decent person with time for the fans, who quietly developed Millwall into a club on the edge of the prem.
RIP John and thoughts with his family and friends, and everyone at Millwall.

I’m convinced the big “C” is down to mankind - we need to stop fuking around with food and packaging etc
The more they find out about the chemicals in ultraprocessed food the more horrendous it looks. As long as the food industry donates large sums to the Tories they are safe from regulation.

Another rocker dies too young. Steve Harwell was the lead singer of Smashmouth, who had a number of hits including their association with the movie Shrek.
56 years old is much too young.
RIP Steve - All star in the sky!

RIP David McCallum

The Man from U.N.C.L.E was a bit before my time but I've seen re-runs.
I remember him mostly from Sapphire & Steel, thoughtful low budget ITV sci-fi from the late 1970's / early 1980's.
From back in the days when tedious CGI was not needed and even youngsters like me had an attention span longer than 90 seconds.

Unfortunately I am old enough to remember watching The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Loved it at the time.

And his performance and appearance in The Great Escape makes his work immortal.

And on that subject, why is it not shown every Christmas anymore ?

Has it fallen foul of some form of Political Correctness now ?
