True, very true but he seemed to have kept it together since he addressed the nation on TV.. One can only guess, I guess.
Harry was singing the anthem in Westminster Abbey for sure. Not sure about Windsor. Not that it makes any difference.
They were outstanding marra, absolutely brilliant, our lass was panicking when they were going up the steps at Windsor
Anyone else feel that this thread should be pinned for a little while? We've just witnessed history, lived through a time of pure unity, pride and togetherness. Moments like the lone piper walking off playing his pipes. The walk across London.I'd hate to see this thread vanish off the main page into the abyss so to speak.
Those 8 Men were the absolute definition of "For Queen and Country" They done their Queen proud while the World watched our Country.
Being honest, perhaps blunt, i don't believe any thread should be pinned. They have a natural life and fade away naturally. If they're forced, as with anything, they lose their meaning. I personally won't watch anything about it now, Monday was it for me ... ... I'd be absolutely horrified to see one of the coffin bearers being 'interviewed' by Susanna Reid
That's a fair point and one I respect. But I feel the whole thing brought alot of people together, in some ways it was a bit of a blur. I'm not a Royalist by any means, but in a time of economic crisis, war etc it genuinely was something everyone agreed on... well, mostly. I'm not saying forever.
The Lady lived a long life did many wonderful things had a few heartaches on the way and is now at rest, time this thread was put too rest also. We now have a new monarch Charles III.
This thread will stay open for as long as anybody wants to contribute to it If you don't want to contribute to it (meaningfully) you should, perhaps, ignore it or keep comments like that above to yourself
