Feels a lot like our relegation season… 3 managers in one season, the 2nd to be sacked a barely proven Croatian… we can but dream that Spurs end up on minus 10 in league one, one day too ay!! <laugh>

Be all the more brilliant if we knock Arsenal out the cup too!

Mental policing at the Tyne Wear derby. Those poor Mackems running the gauntlet being led through one by one virtually like lambs to the slaughter.
Apparently one had CPR after being hit by a bottle...

Think those Sunderland fans had escaped the ‘bubble’ and were being rounded up or something. So don’t think it was planned that way. That said, still daft. Should have just stopped them from attending.

From what I've read the escort they did wasn't mandatory and left before all fans even arrived at the station which led to some stragglers.

The local news said the Sunderland fans were advised to be at Newcastle Central Station for 10.15, to be escorted to the ground. I think for the Sunderland home game, the Toon fans had to travel by coach setting off about 3 hours before the match. Got tickets at the SOL.

Yeah I saw that but the trains arrived at 9:40 or 10:30 so they were never gonna get everyone in that.

Pretty sure Toon fans weren't bubbled, that was the cup tie a few years ago.

I see the unbearable fans are predictably but understandably eulogising over Salah. Is it only me that thinks he was a bit of a prick though, and only ever piped up when he wanted to whinge and destabilise the club?

If we ever have a player of Salah's ability, then he can whinge all day every day and I won't care.

To be fair, when you have had a player that's been that good for you over a long period of time, it's quite easy to overlook or ignore the bad bits. I don't want to see it in the media for the next 2 months though! It's fine for Liverpool fans to care, but one story is enough for the general football media.

It’s going to be like Steve Gerrard 24/7 coverage I fear……,sick of hearing it on the radio already.
And yes he is a bit of prick …..diving whinging one at that.
