Weird one for me . Don’t have anything against West Ham , EXCEPT an ex colleague is a Hammers fan and he was such a vile little thug / bully I can’t but wish them a bit of ill because of him .

Going to be a very exciting run in to the relegation spots. Any one of Leeds forest spam or spurs could be down. I’m rooting for Leeds personally. Can’t be good to have promoted teams relegated every year and they’ve played some good to great football this season with a pretty average squad.

A few years ago Spurs thought they were too good for the rest of us and tried to break away to the super league bollocks with Real Madrid, Juve etc. thinking they were the big boys. Spurs getting relegated would be, by some distance, the best thing to happen in the PL for years. Plus they stole our song and think it’s theirs.
And Martin Chivers. Never forgive or forget.

For me it still comes down to which division we'll be in next season - because I want Leeds to be in our division next season. I think that favours us the most.

But if I take Saints out of the equation, then again it's obviously Spurs who I want to go down. And I say that as someone who openly dislikes West Ham.

It's a shame that Burnley are rubbish, because a double-double relegation of West Ham-Spurs and Pompey-Leicester, alongside promotion for us, would be the dream. But alas not.

I’m not really fussed who it is so i look at it like this.

If we go up I want it to be Spurs or West Ham as I think they would be harder sides to face than Forest/Leeds

If we don’t go up I want it to be Leeds/Forest as I think you can kiss goodbye to one of the promotion spots if it’s Spurs or West Ham (likely all three relegated sides will go straight back up whoever it is but if someone like Spurs comes down then I can see them getting 100 points)

I think Forest have a better squad than West Ham - but would more likely be forced to sell more of those more sought after players. While don't think the father in law of West Ham's most coverted would allow him to!

Pretty sure a large section of Spurs players will want out the moment they get relegated (same perhaps for West Ham or Forest) so I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that any of those will keep the bulk of their squad intact.

It's not the same scenario as a team that got promoted and then went down again next season with those three.

But outside of that I really don't see it as makes any real difference to us next season - we're either in the prem and they are irrelevant or we're not and until such time as it becomes mathematically important their results have no impact on ours (outside of the games we play each other).
