Because there was knee on knee contact just before any contact with the ball perhaps.Never a penalty in a million years. Can't believe it took as long as it did to overturn it tbh.

Some of the commentary in this game:
“When you make those crossfield passes, you have to make sure you find the player”
“When you make a tackle like that, you have to make sure you win the ball”
Umm…yeah, thanks.
The spirit of Dave Merrington's commentary lives on.
Good of Liverpool to continue showing that integrating a lot of new players, even when absolutely world class, takes some time.
Game actually reminded me of Still a bit. Loads and loads of crosses and chuck all the forwards on in a weird formation when needing a goal.
Starting to look like Slot isn’t much good
Not sure I’d go that far.

Looks like only two new signings started for Liverpool, so not sure if integrating new players is the sole issue. Could also be the hangover effect from winning the title.

Well only starting two of their new players to me would suggest precisely an issue with finding the right blend.
Maybe, but if some on here won't believe we have scar tissue from finishing a season on 12 points, I definitely won't believe Liverpool are **** because they stormed the league...
