It happens though. The season after Man City won the treble, they struggled, and were in 4th place halfway through the following season, and only finally regained top spot in with two or three games to go.

Well only starting two of their new players to me would suggest precisely an issue with finding the right blend.
Yeah Slot out.
Oh and Fenway Sports Group out!
EDIT: Isn't that what all fans do after a **** start?

Don't you wish Southampton could have a hangover effect from the winning the title?Looks like only two new signings started for Liverpool, so not sure if integrating new players is the sole issue. Could also be the hangover effect from winning the title.
Does anyone else find the seemingly imminent appointment of Dyche at Forest extremely odd? I just don't see how he take the club forwards.

He'll ensure they don't go down. They'll probably change again in Summer.
Going from Nuno to Dyche in the matter of 6 weeks is daft though.

Except they haven't taken their foot off the gas or pointlessly playing around at the back. They're being direct and effective. 2 things we are not.Brentford doing a solid Saints impression against West Ham, and missing a hatful of easy chances.
Especially when you're losingA manager bringing 3 defenders on at HT surely must be a first.
