Did he really deserve the sack...after all Everton aren't City or Chelsea. I know we sacked Puel after achieving a similar league position...but still.
The fans hated him from day 1 and were very vocal about it. At their final game against West Ham the whole stadium were singing "You're just a fat David Moyes" (it was at West Ham) which I found pretty funny.
He was brought in to keep them up, he has done that now they will be looking for a manager to progress them and take them forward rather than one of the old guard of the PL who has a bit of a glass ceiling in terms of where he can get a team. Hmmmm this sounds familiar..

If it was made clear that he was just there til the end of the season then I think they would've accepted it, but he was given a 2 year contract I believe which they all kicked off about. My mate is an Everton season ticket holder and he hasn't been since he was appointed, they really dislike him.
To be fair to them I'd hate to have him here.
