Poch’s post match comments are very interesting. Pushing Levy to be brave and try and help Spurs to the next level (with the underlying supposition that if that isn’t forthcoming he may be off).
Just listening to Arsene delivering his final media report. His departure signals the end of an era. No one is ever getting close to staying at a top level club for that period of time. Even five years looks like a distant dream for coaches now a days. So Gooners, hope you are fully prepared for the manager merry-go-round you have had the privilege to avoid for twenty two years. Welcome to the party.
And as Alan Shearer said, it’s very unlikely that Levy will want to spend money in the manner that City/United/Chelsea/Liverpool have.
That other Argentinian manager with a name a bit like Pochettino is still looking for work isn’t he? He’d do well at Tottenham!
It would be funny......but not if your a Spurs fan. Chelsea have targeted Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino to replace Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge. (Sun)
The Spurs fans I know - well, let's just say thier heads might literally explode, if Poch goes to Chelsea. I would laugh my head off.
On Blackmore's twitter feed Sparky says to ask him Wednesday, so hopefully there will be a quick decision. I only hope that Saints have a manager lined up if it isn't going to be Hughes....mustn't lose him and then struggle to find any good candidates.
Indeed. It would be criminal really not to sort this out quickly......but then, this is our board......
I think we won’t go for Hughes, they have someone else lined up and may fall back to Hughes if the preferred guy doesn’t come.
