What did I say about removing Fernandino from this City team. Against the very, very best he has a role absolutely. But against the vast majority, they simply don't need him. A different level since he got injured at 1-0 at Sunday.

Very true. It shows how far ahead City are of just about every team in the PL, that they can play with one DM and still look relatively sound defensively.

One of those penalties where you had no faith at all in him scoring.

I think Sane is easily my favourite non-Saints player. Both those goals were created by him.

And another one! Sane scores this time!
Searing pace, great balance, intelligent on and off the ball, great technique and scores and creates goals. Great player already in the perfect team for him

Nope. No matter how good he is (and he is very, very good), his behaviour towards Jack Stephens when they hammered us last season puts him in the “complete and utter cock” bracket.

Remind me, I have forgotten that.

He didn’t like a (good) challenge that Jack did on him and they were having running words for a few minutes. Colour of moments later City scored and instead of celebrating with his team mates he ran to Jack, doing a stupid jig right in his face. I’d have put one on him.

Yes, I remember now. I’m not excusing him at all, but he’s been a teenage superstar for a few years now, and still only 22, so it must have gone to his head a bit. Hopefully he’ll become a bit more rounded in time, although I don’t hold out much hope. You want flair players to be a bit cocky, but not to the extent of rubbing their opponents’ noses in it.
