Atmosphere at the Amex must be one of absolute fury. They are throwing away their season. Their last three years.

If I remember at the beginning of March, the illusion was that Brighton were "safe" How often do we see a team completely implode at the wrong time of the season. SIS, you are right in saying their fixture list is horrid but manna to Cardiff. I really cannot see Brighton getting one more point, Cardiff should manage a win or two from their remaining fixtures. Back to the Saints - two more wins would elevate the team to 42, which in the context of the past 3 years is pretty good. No more flirtations with relegation.
Very interesting. Brighton now a serious contender for relegation when it was possibly us, Cardiff or Burnley just a few games ago.
Will Chris Hughton even survive as manager after this display? Probably not and a caretaker Will be installed for the run in.
Cardiff almost certainly still have to beat Palace and Fulham. But if they do, that really lays down a marker to Brighton. They would still need four points - and if they were to have already lost away to Wolves this weekend, I wouldn't see those four points forthcoming.
Timing is everything. Saints just wanted to generate a sense of nervousness in their fans before putting in performances to match their standing - which should be on a par with the likes of Leicester, West Ham, Watford and Wolves.
When has logic been applicable in football? If the board have lost faith in Hughton to deliver another win, he will be a goner. Nice man and all that, but their board want PL next season and it appears that he will not be able to deliver it.
Cardiff still just favourites at 4/11 (Paddy Power) Brighton close behind at 2/5 (BetFred) Southampton are 300/1 (Marathon)
Didn´t Chelsea sack one of their many managers just before the last game of the season? Or was it City? Watford? It was one of these clubs.
