So a top 10 finish is all but assured without kicking a ball. Saints could even finish 8th without picking up another point if WBA fail to beat Swansea and Bournemouth fail to beat Leicester. And if Everton beat Arsenal that is an 18 point gap between 7th and 8th. And there could be a little as 5 points between 8th and 17th. Has the PL really become that polarised or is this a strange season? Some teams from this group really have to try to get closer next season. I believe Saints have the players but need to play with far more assertiveness when playing the top 7 in order to make inroads next year
