I guess with Maresca Chelsea could be looking at what Arteta has done. Maresca worked under Pep and actually has a season as a manager under his belt where he won the league he was in, that’s more than Arteta had when he got the Arsenal job. As Brendy said everyone just trying to be City/hire people who worked closely with Pep. ****ing copycunts we were doing this 2 seasons ago
I expect that is a joke but Wilcox is not taking the same level of role there. So who fits his philosophy is less relevant than it would be here. I can only assume he hopes to get the director of football job next. Unless I’ve missed something and their plans have fallen through.
So Paqueta ****ed then Interesting to see how common this is, I’m sure he’s not the only player who has/does things like this
Wondering if Bazunu has had a few bets on over 2.5 goals. would explain a lot over the last two seasons
Looks like we are arriving just in time for Guardiola's final PL season (allegedly). Maybe this league might start to have some form of competition again soon.
Sounds like Maresca is going to Chelsea. Interesting decision to replace Poch with him. McKenna could go to either Brighton or Man United. So both the fellow promoted teams could be losing their managers.
I think Ipswich would be in huge trouble if they lose McKenna, and likewise Brentford if they lose Frank. Whereas I think Leicester could probably cope with losing Maresca. But whichever of them Chelsea (and/or Utd) appoint, I fully expect them to be sacked within 18 months.
Changing Poch for Maresca is an insane move by Celsea and I hope they get what they deserve. My mate has just traded in his Alfa Romeo for a Vauxhall Mokka. What Chelsea have done reminds me of this.
I can’t help but wonder if Ten Hag for Thomas Frank (as rumoured) is similar. From their games against us he seemed very very thin skinned. That won’t work as Man United manager
