It would be so us to lose to Sheff Utd and beat City.

Yeah, I was thinking that will be my modus operandi when we lose on Saturday
It will be the only thing that will get me through the week.
That and the unwavering support from many of my friends i made on here today![]()
I'll watch us against City and see positives whatever the outcome but sheffield will not roll over for us and I don't think I'll be able to watch us struggle against them. Think I'll just check the score when its all over and watch on demand if we win.
Can I just rub chilli peppers in my eyes and hit myself in the balls with a bat?Switch it on and suffer like the rest of us....![]()
Nope, no good. You don't get the 2-3 days of post game depression and irritability with that. Can I just rub chilli peppers in my eyes and hit myself in the balls with a bat?

Yes, I broke my taboo of not watching Saints as it seemed a sure way of them losing. Stupid rationale but there you are. Will watch Sheffield game and probably go through the emotions once again like the Everton game. On balance it seemed a better experience than I imagined in that being in the moment is probably less stressful than looking for the result at the end of the game.Switch it on and suffer like the rest of us....![]()

I've tried several times to watch a game, but have to switch off every time we are in danger...like when the match kicks off.Yes, I broke my taboo of not watching Saints as it seemed a sure way of them losing. And when Bertie gets injured, I’ll cover at Left Back. Tom reffing, me playing. What could possibly go wrong?
Me in goal ..... now THAT would be a disaster ..... the last time I did that (about 35 years ago) I took a back pass from the centre-half, let it go through my legs and just stopped it going in by scooping it round the post for a corner. I was upset at the abuse I got from the team ........![]()
