Better proof reading before pasting. "Cedric Soares gets along the byline, he's stretching to keep it in play but he might just have managed it. He cuts it back and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang smashes it into an open night"
How long before Bruce gets the chop at Newcastle? It always seemed a strange appointment which would guarantee that their ambitions could stretch no further than mid-table at best. I always feel that if there was an index which matched supporter expectations against reality, Newcastle would top a league where the former outstripped the latter. It is surprising that Bilic has been the only casualty in the Prem this season. I think that the next big name sacking with be Neil Lennon at Celtic. Their season has truly gone south and the trip to Dubai is only the latest in the number of fiascos. I would have to say that he is not a character that comes across well and I would not necessarily want him back in English football.
Reading Bruce’s comments about how he has played 3 centre backs because “the players preferred it” was an eye opener for me. He’s there to manage not appease the players. They are, IMO, the softest team we have faced all season, just sitting back and offering zero threat going forward. They deserve to go down just for that.
