I hate Spurs. Just do, so many reasons why... Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, I just don't like 'em. No hate involved as I save that for Spurs. Don't mind Jews, I have many Jewish friends...and some of them hate Spurs! That must be confusing for them
If any of my fellow Saints are going to see the away match at West Ham, the nearest place for having a pre-match meal is in the Westfield shopping mall (it is very, very big). My friend and I found the "Real Greek" bar which serves a nice platter of different Greek dishes. Makes a difference to going to a traditional pub and having a "pukka" pie. On getting to the stadium, no alcohol is served on EL nights due to the regulations enforced by UEFA/EUFA. So when Saints make their appearance, you'll be drinking large cokes. Also noticed popcorn being served.
Hate is a real strong emotion. The only time I felt "hate" in my soul was the 2-2 draw against Portsmouth in the 2011/12 promotion season. Of course I'm ashamed of my feelings at the time. In reality I'm indifferent to PFC, same with my feelings towards Chelsea and Manchester United. Hate is really too powerful an emotion to have for a specific football club and should really be reserved for politicians like Donald Trump, the cronies in the GW Bush's administration and Tony Blair.
Hate? It's like a bottle of really strong bourbon - you can save it all up to use in one go, which may go badly as these things often do... or you can have just a little glass or two every now and then for your little Pet hates, like football teams and politicians, and spiders. Kind of Hate 'lite' I've never really hated anybody or anything, but by the same token, I never loved Saints. In the same way that I love Saints, I hate Spurs.
People say hate when they don't really mean it....they just want misfortune to arrive at the other persons door. There are several teams that I hope crash and burn....just for the fun of it. However, this fades as I dislike someone else...for instance, my dislike of Spurs has eased somewhat and Everton have taken their place in the league table. I can't dislike everyone, though there are 19 teams that I want to do badly this season (and every season).
The whole 'ignore the steward, don't sit down...... then someone sings 'stand up if you love West Ham' thing - I have experienced the exact same behaviour in the Northam Stand at Saints! THey're probably in the state at the minute of people needing to find their sections of the ground.....the ones who want ot stand and sing lots will need to work out where they're going to sit, the ones who want to sit and watch a football match also need to work out where to sit. They won't all find that in the first game.
I think Saints suggested the Northam for singing fans when SMS started selling tickets. West Ham fans will probably have decided where the best spot is for the noisy fans.

Let's hope it happens again. P.s. You are right...at the same time as we went through against Vitesse.
I think if you asked any football fan to list three questions to someone who had visited the Olympic stadium for a football match, this post would have answered none of them
