I think it was fatletiss who talked about the influence Allardyce, Nolan, and their agent wielded over the junior players at West Ham. This is worth a read.

Thanks Qwerty, just read this. That 'meeting' and Morrison saying it was brought up daily, fits in with what I was told was happening at a Premier League club with a manager and his captain. I couldn't possibly know who though :p

As my employer has paid for access to the Opta Stats database for the Premier League, this could be pretty fun.

I never realised how many things they actually collect data on. :emoticon-0104-surpr

After being accused of looking drunk in the Fulham dugout, Ray Wilkins reveals he is suffering from Ulcerative Colitis.

I thought there was something wrong with Ray Wilkins. I've seen him in the dugout quite a few times recently, and he looks poorly sometimes and then OK at other times. I know another person with Ulcerative Colitis, and that figures.

On another subject, Michael Laudrup was sacked by email, so he says: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26250930

Apologies if posted earlier. I have little sympathy for overpaid Premier League managers and players, but if the sacking turned out the way he suggests then that is way underhand.

Wow, seems like the agent/Fat Sam rumours may have some creditability.

We should have taken a punt on Morrison.

After all the fuss about players effort and attitude at Sunderland by Saints, I'm wondering what fans think of the criticism of Ozil over the last few games. He seems to getting a lot of abuse from Arsenal fans.

No thank you. He's a touch of the Osvaldo/Ranger about him. Not in our dressing room.

Read the article that Qwerty posted, he had problems when he was younger but has now settled dow and oesn't go out. Describes him as a consumate professional. He is young, english, ambitious, and exactly what we need. I would take him in a second tbh if we could get him on the cheap.
