Just hours before the game with Palace he went on a bender and had sex with this woman in a hotel.

Initial story came out last week, Giroud denied it and said it was false. Today, there have been pictures to show it wasn't a lie and he's now owned up.

Bloody hell.....that's one hell of a mess he has made, depends on what his wife wants now....divorce or forgiveness ?
And then Venger will take a dim view of him after that, and surely now has to be a doubt for today...

It's more acceptable in French society to have affairs, look at Hollande.

How come we're currently writing about Premier League football in Beefy's old thread and political pillow talk in the Premier League thread..? :)

On a Premier League subject, I see that Wayne Rooney is to sign another contract for ManU updating his weekly wage to £300,000. Now, bearing in mind that nobody is worth that, in any field or profession, but making the adjustment into the crazy world of footballer's pay, I think he's being overpaid. Basically, he isn't that good, but ManU believe they have to pay him that much to keep there in order to attract like-skilled players to the club.

In essence, this is a sign that ManU see themselves on the quality slide, and it's cheaper for them to keep Rooney as an overpaid talisman.

The new manager has taken his second training session at Fulham (with help from an unknown German speaker...coach or translator?), but Meulensteen, Curbishley and Wilson have not officially been fired. Curbishley turned up at 8.30, but then left. Weirder and weirder.

Yes, during the day that Fulham appointed their new manager, Meulensteen told the media that he'd been replaced. However, the Fulham statement made no mention of Meulensteen at all, which led some media to suggest that Fulham couldn't even be bothered to mention his name when firing him. Then, in the evening, it was suggested that Meulensteen hadn't been fired. The truth might be [and looks like it so far], that Meulensteen remains as First Team Coach, and now they have a Team Manager.

So, panic over.

When this was first mooted, most people thought of Allardyce straight away. I was pleased to hear that Morrison has turned his life around...have to admit I still thought of him as a bad boy. Let's hope it works out for him at QPR.....as long as he doesn't carry any brown paper bags for Harry.

I think it was a mirror article a month or so ago that reported it without saying who the manager, player and accomplices were.

One of my best ever games was after a very drunk, late night at a Xmas party, followed by some similar activities to Giroud, a 4 hour car journey at 7:30 in the morning and then a quickie before driving to the game! It wasn't a bad level of football either and probably my best performance of the season (the match, not the quickie before the game)

Someone tweeted that the Man City away game has been moved to 12:45 ko, for BT coverage, another kick in the backside for away fans?

Hope the anti-biotics worked........

Saw this on twitter, cracked me up:

"Fair play to Giroud, denying it after you've apologised for it is a ****ing audacious move"
