Not sure where to put this, but John Percy, a very reliable midlands journalist on twitter, that Saints made an inquiry to Leicester about Jamie Vardy. Were told he was not for sale.

We were supposed to be interested when he first went to Leicester I think, but I can't really see it.
 
I also saw Laudrup is talking to his lawyers.

I'm not sure how that works. Can he possibly demonstrate unfair dismissal if "we thought you weren't doing well enough" is a valid reason to sack a football manager? I agree he shouldn't have been sacked, but surely the board had the right to do it.

I guess it's about the process they went through rather than the decision. Doubt it will go a lot further really.
