I’m open to a bet on that if you are. The Dems are hardly left wing.

On what? That Biden gets back in? If he did, he might find Starmer Tory-light. He's abandoning most of his policies and Rayner's being side-lined. How long before the Non-Dom thing goes. It's currently ear-marked to pay for spending in at least six "Even Newer Labour" departments

You wouldn't want to have to whip out your nice blue passport as you cross over into Poland during a firefight would you? There are multiple reasons for joining a European Defence Coalition....it's not as if they are planning on invading anywhere, and circumventing US interference (especially those bloody IRA supporters in the White House) in operations would be an advantage. With the instability in Russia and Ukraine we should be seeking all the allies we can instead of holding them out at arms length....China is still hovering in the wings and will be the winner once the Russia/Ukraine conflict has played out.....

Absolutely.

You ****ers really don’t understand what ‘sovereignty’ means do you?

We fight alone we die alone. Pure and unsullied, with our precious bodily fluids uncontaminated by foreign garlic and uncorrupted by foreign ideas.

I think.

The way our Defence budget is going, sovereignty is our main weapon.

If you can't see that trying to get the leader of the IRA a US visa, and then fighting the British in the extradition from the US of IRA members suspected of terrorist offences in the UK is "support for the IRA", then I suspect you may be suffering from a heavy dose of cat flu. Have you walked past any school pupils with long bushy tails recently?
I
A simpler reason behind this whole Biden thing could just be that he thinks our government are as corrupt and incompetent as the vast majority of the country do. Right wingers don’t have to pretend to be some oppressed victim group on everything.
It could be argued that our old PM Johnson is in bed with the Russians based on him appointing lebedev to the house of lords. Much more solid than Biden and the visa thing.
