If Johnson gets through to the last two and wins, should be a fun ride given that 75 Tory MPs publicly called for him to resign in the months running up to his actual resignation, and 53 ministers resigned from his government because of his behaviour. I’m sure he, and his official arse lickers Dorries and Rees Mogg have a full list of names. Apparently a fair number of these might resign the Tory whip, or even resign their seats, if the members vote Johnson back in. Only takes 36 to vote against the Government in a confidence vote for an election to be inevitable (perhaps a few more, I’ve lost track of how many sitting MPs of any party have lost the whip for various sordid activities).
Massive chasm opening up between Tory party members and Tory MPs. Perhaps a few members will defect to their true spiritual home, the Reform Party, if Johnson misses out.
Johnson could be the four horsemen of the Tory apocalypse rolled into one pale, quivering lump of blubber.
Bring it on! Vote Boris!
