My prediction is, can't be Johnson not least because he is the subject of a Parliamentary Inquiry. The shires don't like Sunak because he ratted out Boris. So...the UK's fourth female PM, Penny Mordaunt.

Who the members would possibly have chosen had MPs not foisted the worst two on them to choose from.

I presume that's based on Tory members votes? I would agree apart from the reason why Sunak wont get the gig

Tory members haven't forgiven Sunak. They have long memories.

There is another possibility- that Sunak is the only candidate to get the 100 votes needed, in which case he will effectively be crowned irrespective of what the members think
